PURE Youth Monroe

Monroe, NJ

PURE Youth is a leadership program that aims to bring and facilitate education to the poor all over the world through numerous projects and fundraising. Our goal is to help people of all genders, race, and religion receive the education they deserve, no matter their social class. PURE Youth also brings food/ necessary supplies to the needy, and donate;s much as it can to efforts including COVID relief, refugee camps, and more. PURE Youth also gives ambassadors an opportunity to improve leadership, creative/ critical thinking and analysis skills through many projects completed each semester. An ambassador is able to give back to the community, learn how to apply knowledge to the outside world, and lead a group of people into making positive change in neighborhoods everywhere.

The Monroe Township chapter of PURE Youth was started in 2018. This chapter has spent months planning numerous projects in order to give back to the community. The team at Monroe has had amazing success in its projects, and has strived to complete them to the best of it’s ability despite the current pandemic. The chapter has an amazing team of ambassadors, mentors, RC’s, and parent volunteers, who have and will continue to create positive change in our world.

Testimonials

Volunteering is something I have always had an interest in, and I am eternally grateful that PURE has granted me first-hand experience in volunteering in my community, while also allowing me to help globally facilitate education to underprivileged schools and children. Education is a privilege that we have here in the US, but underprivileged people in countless other countries don’t receive access to proper education, whether it’s because of gender, financial, societal, or personal reasons. Providing someone with a good education allows them to prosper and have a substantial future. Being able to help provide that for a person feels extraordinary, knowing that the time and effort I put in has impacted their life for the better. Giving benefits the one giving as well, helping them find passion, make an impact, and change the ways of society for the better, all while meeting new people along the way, forming everlasting bonds.
- Loukya Narne (Director)

I really enjoyed working with PURE Youth and still do. PURE Youth gave me the opportunity to help those in need, I always used to donate to charity even before I joined PURE, but now after I am a part of this organization I have many new and impactful ways to help people, people who need food, people who need education, people who need money, people without homes, and the list goes on. I feel so good everyday because I am helping people all over the world and I can not thank PURE Youth enough for giving me this opportunity. PURE gives people the gift of education, which is essential in life, I think education should be shared with everyone and everybody, everyone needs knowledge to do anything and being able to gift that to someone is such a good thing.I think giving and sharing is vital for a good social life, but this type of sharing is much more important, notable, and critical.
- Sudhanshu Bahunutla (Ambassador)

Volunteering is something I’ve always enjoyed doing because it allows you to contribute to the betterment of your community. While working with the PURE Youth Organization I was able to find ways to help with the education of those who aren’t as privileged as we are . Education is significant because our teachers and mentors train us and strengthen us in different areas of life. However people who are indigent, don’t receive an education due to numerous reasons. PURE Youth grants the benefit of education, which as far as I’m concerned should be shared with everyone. Tuition is essential and should be shared since it allows us to be successful and accomplish our goals. I believe that giving and sharing are important to create relationships but, giving education is crucial and dominant.
- Ananya Kodicherla (Ambassador)

In the past, many people thought that children of different races and genders shouldn’t be allowed an education. We are very lucky, for that has now changed, and every child has rights to an education. PURE Youth Organization is a symbol of one child helping another. To me, volunteering is doing a good deed to help someone who’s life isn’t the easiest out of the kindness in your heart, instead of expecting some form of reward. Giving someone the gift of education is surely one of the greatest things one can do for another. An education can positively impact a person’s life by helping them explore different perspectives of the world, both scientifically and creatively. It can also help them socialize, or in other words, make some friends. In my opinion, giving and sharing is vital to keep our world stable. How else would we be able to trade for resources we don’t have? Unfortunately, many families aren’t able to afford an education, and it’s our job as PURE Youth ambassadors to help them. We can live knowing we impacted the world for the better, even if it’s just a small part. With this, I am proud to say that I am an ambassador in the PURE Youth Organization, helping people around the world learn new things.
- Adya Dubbudu (Ambassador)

Volunteering is an activity that I will always look forward to.I love helping people and PURE Youth has given me a chance to do so. I think that education is a gift from god that will be useful for all of a person’s life. I feel extremely grateful to be able to deliver that gift. Education can help a person in many, many ways. I feel that life is education and everybody needs it to have a happy life. All kids should have an education whether their race, gender, family, religion, home, or culture. Anybody and everybody can benefit greatly from education. Giving and sharing is something I’ve always wanted to do and PURE is the perfect organization for me to do this.
- Avinash Gundeti (Ambassador)

To me, volunteering means giving time, energy, and skills to help others or to work on a cause that one cares about, without being paid for it. I am glad that I am able to participate in volunteering activities through Pure Youth and make a difference in my community and in India. I think that giving the gift of education is a wonderful and meaningful way to help others and make a positive impact in the world. Education has the power to transform lives and communities, and can provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential. There are many people in the world who are unable to have a proper education and through Pure Youth, I am happy that I am able to help children in India to receive a proper education. I believe that giving and sharing are important values that can bring joy and fulfillment to both the giver and the recipient. When we give and share with others, we not only help to meet the needs of those around us, but we also have the opportunity to strengthen our relationships and build connections with others.
- Arnav Chanchala (Ambassador)

Volunteering is something that I always looked forward to, loved and had an interest in. It is everyone’s right to have basic needs and education. Unfortunately lots of people are struggling with that, but the organization Pure Youth stops this and helps people in need. Education is one of the most important basic needs and it is a right that everyone should have. Having a good Education can help you with everything in life whether you need to make money or support your family. In my experience helping and sharing our rights and love doesn’t just help them but also brightens your day as I brighten there's.I am proud to say I’m a Pure Youth Ambassador as I continuously help raise money in my community to help others.
- Saanvi Tondapu (Ambassador)

Volunteering for me is something that I love and feel good about because the thought of me helping somebody in need makes me feel super happy inside. Education is something we should cherish. Not every single person in the world is as lucky as us to have a good education. Education can help a person to get a job, and have a good life, and education teaches the ways to live life. My thoughts on giving and sharing are wonderful. It is always good to help people if they need it. I am happy to say that I am in Pure Youth, an organization that helps people all over the world.
- Dhavan Narne(Ambassador)

Volunteering has always been an activity that makes me feel good about what I’m doing. It’s always nice to see someone else happy because of the things that you did to support their lives. Many things that those who are fortunate enough to have have are often taken for granted, although many could only dream of having those things. By volunteering and contributing to the community, these things can be distributed throughout society no matter one’s financial status. Via Pure Youth I’m able to push forth this very same idea, and I’m proud to be one of Pure’s members.
- Ankit Seri (Ambassador)

Volunteering must come from the heart, not from the mind. It’s about serving your community and gaining first-hand experience while doing so, and is an opportunity and privilege to thrive from. In my first couple of months in PURE, I can already see and feel the impact we make together as a team by spreading the gift of education worldwide. Education is a right everyone has, but not everyone can experience, and this is due to numerous reasons. Education can help you advance in this world and flourish to be an outstanding person in the future, but this all has to start somewhere, and when I am that somewhere, it feels extraordinary. The time and effort I put into helping others gain something they ought to have is a special type of joy that can only come when it is a genuine feeling, and meeting countless more people along this journey makes volunteering ever so special to me.
- Ananya Raja (Ambassador)

Volunteering makes me feel like I am making a positive difference in the world. It also makes me really happy that I did something to change a person’s life and help them. I am thankful for this opportunity and what it has given me. I believe that education is a gift and that the people who do get it are privileged. It teached people about life and how to grow and is very important in showing a person how to improve. Helping and sharing with others can teach a person a valuable lesson on how everyone is different. It will show a person that everyone is equal and should be treated with the same amount of affection. As a result, everyone will thrive together.
- Shloka Voonna (Ambassador)
