PURE Abhyasa.

Education Where It Is Needed Most.

PURE Abhyasa brings learning, nutrition and basic-needs support to children in remote forest and tribal communities with limited access to school.

Local teachers use safe learning spaces, art, stories and digital tools to help children build literacy, numeracy and readiness for mainstream government or tribal welfare schools.

The program works in India, Uganda and Sierra Leone. Its 10 centres include eight in Telangana, one in Uganda and one in Sierra Leone.

How Abhyasa Brings Education to Remote Communities

PURE Abhyasa takes learning closer to children who are otherwise left out due to distance, lack of school access, poverty, and limited infrastructure. The program combines education, nutrition, basic needs, culture, and community support to create a safe and engaging learning environment.

Temporary Learning Spaces

Creating simple, safe learning spaces in remote areas where formal school infrastructure is not available.

Teacher Access

Enabling teachers from nearby towns and communities to reach children in remote forest locations.

Nutrition & Basic Needs

Providing hot meals cooked on campus, clothing, and essential support that help children stay healthy and engaged in learning.

Digital & Solar Learning

Using TVs, audio-visual tools, and solar power to support digital education where electricity access is limited.

Community Support Initiatives

Education thrives when communities have access to the resources needed to support children's learning and well-being. Alongside education programs, PURE Abhyasa works with families and communities to improve basic support systems such as water, solar lighting, nutrition, clothing, health awareness, and cultural connection.

These initiatives help create safer, healthier, and more supportive environments where children can learn, grow, and stay connected to education.

Water Support

Helping improve access to water for children and families in remote communities.

Nutrition Support

Providing hot meals and food support that help children stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn.

Solar Lamps

Providing solar lamps and solar-powered support where reliable electricity is limited.

Health & Malaria Prevention

Supporting community awareness, prevention efforts, and basic health initiatives that help children stay healthy and continue learning.

Clothing & Basic Needs

Supporting children and families with clothing and essential items that promote dignity and well-being.

Community Celebrations

Celebrating local traditions, festivals, and national holidays to build belonging, joy, and community connection.

Support Abhyasa

Support learning, nutrition and essential resources for children with limited access to school. Individuals and organizations can help through donations, volunteering and community partnerships.

PURE welcomes volunteers and partners interested in bringing this work to new communities.
